The Conference Site is located at Parque das Nações, in the north-east part of Lisbon (see the Lisbon map). It can be easily reached by car, sub-way, bus, and also directly by train or ferry in case you start far out from the city core. Sub-way is the recommended option. "Oriente" on the red line is the sub-way station at Parque das Nações. If you come by car, you have several parking options at this site. Further to street parking (with parking meter), Parque das Nações also features 11 (paying) parking lots, with a total capacity of about 5500 cars. The closest to Pavilhão Atlântico - the Conference Site - are the Atlântico, D. Manuel I, Estação do Oriente, and Oriente Sul. Pavilhão Atlântico, is a large domed pavillion located close to the Tagus river front (see the site map). Besides the multipurpose Pavilhão Atlântico, Parque das Nações features several other pavillions that host cultural events, and permanent or temporary expositions. You can also visit one of the largest Oceanariums in Europe, the Vasco da Gama tower, a leisure garden, etc. There is also a large choice of restaurants, ranging from the fast food type to the most exquisite cuisine restaurants.

You can opt to buy the Cartão do Parque (Park Card) to benefit from discounts in the Parque's major attractions or special prices when dining in member restaurants.
