• Topic selection:
  The topic of the contribution should be closely related to a presentation at BIANISOTROPICS 2000. It should present novel material that has not already been published or is currently under submission at an archival journal elsewhere. Unless otherwise agreed with the guest editors, it should be a regular research paper and not a review.
• Manuscript submission:
  It is anticipated that all correspondence shall be conducted via electronic mail to save time and mailing costs. Manuscripts should be submitted as early as possible but not later than 10 January 2001. They should be submitted in the form of electronic mail attachments to: wsw@maths.gla.ac.uk.
• Manuscript style:
  The journal publishes directly from Latex files and authors are therefore strongly encouraged to submit manuscripts prepared with Latex. Initial submission for review purposes should be in the form of a single .pdf (Acrobat) or .ps (Postscript) file (individual source files and any graphics should not be sent at that stage). Authors who are unable to provide a manuscript in any of these formats should consult the guest editors as soon as possible.
• Manuscript length:
  To provide a guideline for length, when processed with the specifications of a 11pt font, double-spacing and default page parameters, manuscripts should not exceed 20 pages in length.
• Review process:
  Manuscripts will be reviewed strictly in accordance with journal guidelines. The procedure is to have each manuscript reviewed by 2 referees; 1 of those 2 referees may be one of the authors who have submitted manuscripts (it will be expected that every contributing author shall agree to review one other submitted manuscript). The review process will be conducted by the guest editors. Werner S Weiglhofer will act as liaison to the editor-in-chief of AEÜ, Johannes Huber.
